Ebony Walden Consulting provides dynamic DEI training and facilitation services for social sector organizations. Our services challenge, coach, and invite participants to map out future success. Service offering can be scaled and crafted to meet the needs of your group. HERE is a list of services. 

If you are a leader tasked with moving a DEI initiative forward and you need some support, consider joining our 4-month virtual program for DEI focused leaders from across the state. This program is designed and facilitated by EWC specifically to meet your needs. The structure will include: meeting twice a month virtually for 1.5 to 2 hours with 10-12 other leaders, coaching by Ebony, peer to peer coaching and learning, trainings and new content focused on improving your DEI leadership skills, evaluating your current strategy and furthering your initiative.

EWC’s DEI training centers on helping clients understand the language and concepts of DEI, the history and legacy of exclusion in their work (particularly as it relates to racism), its manifestations in themselves and their organizations and begin to disrupt the status quo to create more inclusive communities and equitable outcomes. EWC helps teams and leaders gain insight and best practices in developing, implementing and sustaining a DEI initiative. To do this, EWC conducts surveys and assessments on a case by case basis to help get a snapshot of the organization and inform the organizations DEI strategy development. Strategy and coaching sessions are designed for staff, board, and leadership teams focused on creating more equitable and inclusive workplaces, processes and procedures. 

EWC is also available to support your team, management, and leadership with 1:1 coaching and team coaching and/or strategy sessions. Goals for these sessions will be tailored for each individual or team.

EWC’s has over 15 years of experience developing and facilitating leadership development programs focused on community leaders and over 5 years of experience developing DEI cohorts for social sector organization. Most recently, Ebony has developed and facilitated racial equity cohorts for Richmond Memorial Health Foundation, Initiatives of Change USA and Virginia Conservation Network. EWC has also facilitated Leaders of Color Circles for The Center for Nonprofit Excellence and is currently working with Virginia Housing Alliance to develop a BIPOC leadership development program. Ebony can support your organization, association or team to develop the goals, focus and outcomes for a potential program, as well as work with your team to co-create the curriculum and facilitate the initiatives as needed. 

EWC is available for one time and longer term engagements with teams or organizations that are interested in strategy sessions, community engagement advising for planning or community development projects or staff, board or community meeting facilitation related to the built or natural environment.
